Wet-laid Waterproofing Membrane

Product Introduction
Wet-laid waterproofing membranes are selfadhesive, polymer-modified bitumen membranes bonded to a concrete substrate using pure cement paste or cement mortar. Based on the reinforcing material, they are classified as polymer film-based waterproofing membranes and filament polyesterreinforced waterproofing membranes (PY type). Polymer film-based waterproofing membranes are further categorized into high-strength (H type) and high-elongation (E type) varieties. The polymer film may be located on the surface or in the middle of the membrane. Products are classified by adhesive surface as single-sided adhesive (S) or double-sided adhesive (D).

Substrate Preparation → Preparation of Cement Slurry → Treatment of Detailed Joints (Application of Adhesive Layer) → Positioning and Marking → Application of Cement Slurry While Laying the Membrane and Releasing Air → Membrane Lap Sealing and Edge Sealing → Quality Inspection and Acceptance→ Application of Protective Layer
Storage and Transportation
1、During storage and transportation, products of different types and specifications should be stored separately and should not be mixed.
2、Keep away from direct sunlight and rain; ensure proper ventilation; keep away from sources of fire; storage temperature should not exceed 45°C.
3、When stored flat, rolls should be stacked no higher than 5 layers; when stored upright, they should be stacked in a single layer.
4、Prevent tilting or lateral pressure during transport; cover with a tarp if necessary.
5、Under normal storage and transportation conditions, the shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
